Internationaly Posting 3 - What About Sports
Now, lets talk about sports and piss the americans a bit.
Americans tend to say that football, our european football, the football, is a girly sport. Well, is it?
I don't think so. Just watch a few brittish matches and african matches, and you'll see. But if that's not enough for you, maybe you'd like to see some Aussie Rules Football, also known as "Aussie No Rules". What is it? A mix of football, handball, rugby and destruction derby.
Just watch how, some of them, are knocked out instantly. And bare in mind that, in both sports, no protection is used. These are men sports. And you can add rugby to it too.
It's not that thing you call football, where the ball stops everytime the guy who has falls down. In U.S.A. there's only one sport that can be compared to the three greatest sports in the world, and that's Ice Hockey, because of the flow of the play and the hardness of the game.
So, i made my point. Say what you want, but I think you are the sissys, and the ones playing girl sports.

In my case, I don't enjoy so much football like Formula 1 or Wrc Championship. Any way and with respect to american people, I think Rugby its a rubish sporty.. and European football is more civilized.
ResponderEliminarAt the end if i want a sports contact, I think i pick Hockey. Cos its more fluid and logical then rugby.
I even venture to say.. that rugby its more like a tradition and not totally a sport. If u look with attention Rugby for Americans in the past it was more a family or a neighbors moment than sport. On the other hand we have european football; played since 12th century
But who cares about my idea? x)

Como não sou um grande aficionado por Desportos deste género, e como o próprio texto transcrito refere; è natural confundir ambos, dado que o objectivo de jogo bem como a sua alma são idênticas. Peço desculpa, não voltarei a falar sem estar por dentro do assunto.
